Bajaj Housing Finance reported a strong Q4 and FY26 with Assets Under Management rising 23% YoY to ₹1,40,706 crore and loan assets growing 24% to ₹1,23,745 crore. Profit after tax for Q4 FY26 rose 14% YoY to ₹669 crore, while FY26 PAT grew 18% to ₹2,560 crore (20% adjusted for a one-time tax benefit in FY25). Net Interest Income for FY26 jumped 25% to ₹3,752 crore, and profit before tax increased 20% to ₹3,320 crore. Asset quality remained healthy with Gross NPA at 0.27% (vs 0.29%) and Net NPA steady at 0.11%. The company recorded a one-time exceptional charge of ₹13.14 crore related to new Labour Codes impact on gratuity. Joint statutory auditors Singhi & Co. and Mukund M. Chitale & Co. issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Strong loan book expansion (24%), improving AUM (23%), and stable asset quality (GNPA at 0.27%) suggest continued business momentum for shareholders. The clean audit opinion and 18% PAT growth reinforce fundamentals, though higher finance costs and provisions are worth monitoring. The 18th AGM is scheduled for 29 July 2026.
