Bajel Projects announced audited standalone and consolidated results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, with FY25 revenue from operations more than doubling to Rs 2,598.24 crore from Rs 1,169.21 crore in FY24, a growth of about 122%. Profit after tax for FY25 jumped roughly 261% to Rs 15.46 crore from Rs 4.29 crore, and Q4 standalone revenue rose 64% to Rs 801.43 crore. The auditor (SRBC & Co LLP) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results but flagged an Emphasis of Matter on ongoing arbitration against two customers for recovery of Rs 50.20 crore in outstanding balances. The Board also approved raising the borrowing limit under Section 180(1)(c) from Rs 2,500 crore to Rs 3,500 crore (subject to shareholder approval) and appointed Mr. Sudarshan Sampathkumar as a Non-Executive Independent Director. The 3rd AGM is scheduled for August 14, 2025 via video conferencing.
The sharp jump in revenue and profitability signals strong business momentum and improving scale, which is positive for shareholders. However, investors should watch the unresolved customer arbitration (Rs 50+ crore exposure) and the proposed sharp increase in borrowing limit, which could push debt levels much higher relative to current equity of around Rs 585 crore.
