Balaxi Pharma reported Q1 FY27 results. Standalone revenue fell to Rs 1,558 lakhs (vs Rs 1,671 lakhs), with a net loss of Rs 125 lakhs (vs Rs 19 lakh profit). Consolidated revenue grew 14 percent to Rs 8,068 lakhs, while net profit jumped over 4x to Rs 130 lakhs. The board noted commercial production at its Jadcherla formulation plant, starting with 2 products and 29 more approved (total 31 products). WHO-GMP audit was completed and CAPA submitted, with certification on track.
Mixed signals. Consolidated profits strong on subsidiary growth; standalone losses raise concern. New plant ramp-up adds long-term growth potential but near-term margins weak.
