Balaxi Pharmaceuticals reported FY2026 standalone revenue of Rs 8,085.11 lakhs (up 32.5% from Rs 6,098.82 lakhs) and standalone net profit of Rs 514.69 lakhs (up 42.9% from Rs 360.13 lakhs). However, consolidated revenue declined 7.6% to Rs 27,017.35 lakhs and consolidated net profit dropped significantly to Rs 141.69 lakhs from Rs 2,507.02 lakhs in the prior year. The company received its Manufacturing Licence for the Jadcherla formulation plant on 23 May 2026 after successful CDSCO inspection and CAPA verification. The facility is ready for commercial production of Paracetamol 500mg and Piroxicam 20mg capsules, with raw materials already stocked. Balaxi is pursuing WHO-GMP certification and has applied for 40 additional product permissions. The Board approved re-appointment of internal auditors and Ms. Akshita Ostwal as Independent Director. Auditors issued unmodified (clean) opinions on both standalone and consolidated financials.
The new manufacturing plant provides diversification into domestic formulation production, but the sharp consolidated profit decline raises concerns about subsidiary performance. Investors should monitor if the new facility can offset weakness in the overseas wholesale business and drive future revenue growth.
