The Board approved audited financial results for Q4 and FY25 along with an unmodified audit opinion. On a standalone basis, total revenue grew about 14% to Rs 10,110.66 lakhs (FY24: Rs 8,870.64 lakhs) and profit after tax rose roughly 13% to Rs 9,709.25 lakhs (FY24: Rs 8,561.65 lakhs), with EPS at Rs 4.37. On a consolidated basis, total revenue from operations rose about 7.6% to Rs 2,52,638.04 lakhs, while net profit increased around 10% to Rs 26,653.95 lakhs and EPS stood at Rs 0.77. The auditor flagged several Emphasis of Matter items including a suspected fraud of Rs 190.25 lakhs at a Northern Region branch of subsidiary Balmer Lawrie & Co (under vigilance probe), going concern uncertainty at Visakhapatnam Port Logistics Park Ltd (continuous losses, negative working capital), an impairment of Rs 584.05 lakhs on a Vizag warehouse, and unreconciled old GST input credits of Rs 2,154 lakhs. A share subdivision (face value from Rs 10 to Re 1) took effect on 9th August 2024.
Results are broadly steady with double-digit earnings growth at the standalone level, but shareholders should note the disclosed fraud, the going concern flag on a subsidiary, and multiple reconciliation issues at the subsidiary level, which could draw regulatory or governance attention despite the clean overall audit opinion.
