Balrampur Chini Mills reported audited FY25 standalone results. Full-year revenue from operations fell ~3.2% YoY to ₹5,41,538 lakhs (vs ₹5,59,374 lakhs in FY24), and profit after tax dropped ~20.6% to ₹34,388 lakhs (vs ₹43,321 lakhs), pulling down EPS to ₹17.04 from ₹21.47. However, Q4 FY25 (Jan–Mar 2025) was sharply stronger: standalone revenue grew ~26% YoY to ₹1,50,368 lakhs and PAT surged roughly 3.5x to ₹22,002 lakhs (EPS ₹10.90 vs ₹3.11), driven by sugar and distillery segments. The Board did not declare any new dividend — the earlier interim dividend of ₹3 per share (300% on ₹1 face value) was confirmed as the final dividend. The Board also appointed M/s MKB & Associates as new Secretarial Auditors for 5 years and re-appointed NDA & Associates as Internal Auditors and M/s Mani & Co as Cost Auditors. Auditors Lodha & Co LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
Mixed picture: weak full-year numbers (lower revenue and profits YoY) suggest sugar-cycle headwinds, but a strong Q4 rebound and stable ₹3 dividend provide near-term support. Continued capex on the PLA project (revised estimate ₹2,85,000 lakhs) signals growth focus but also higher borrowings, which shareholders should monitor.
