The board declared a 400% interim dividend, equal to Rs 4 per Rs 1 face-value share, for FY2026-27. The record date is 11 November 2026 and payment begins 26 November. For the quarter ended 30 September, consolidated operating revenue was Rs 1,876.28 crore and profit after tax was Rs 102.29 crore, versus Rs 44.15 crore a year earlier. Half-year profit was Rs 146.44 crore and EPS was Rs 7.04.
High cash returns and stronger profit may support sentiment. The payout reduces cash for expansion or debt reduction; the actual yield depends on the share price.
