Banaras Beads Limited has submitted its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) to the exchanges. Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 620.84 lakhs, down from Rs. 707.70 lakhs in the same quarter last year — a YoY decline of about 12%. Despite the revenue dip, profit after tax (PAT) rose to Rs. 60.99 lakhs from Rs. 53.91 lakhs, a growth of roughly 13% YoY, helped by lower input and employee costs. Basic EPS improved to Rs. 0.92 from Rs. 0.81. The statutory auditors (G.D. Dubey & Associates) issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or adverse remarks. No shareholder complaints or loan defaults were reported for the quarter.
Mixed signals for shareholders — top-line has shrunk year-on-year, which may concern investors, but profitability and EPS have improved on the back of better cost control. The clean auditor report and absence of any debt defaults are positive takeaways.
