Bank of Maharashtra reported strong full-year FY26 results with total business growing 17.47% to Rs 6,42,531 crore. Gross advances surged 21.74% to Rs 2,91,967 crore while deposits rose 14.14% to Rs 3,50,564 crore. Net profit jumped 27.17% year-on-year to Rs 7,019 crore, driven by 17.13% growth in net interest income to Rs 13,664 crore. The bank improved its asset quality with gross NPA falling to 1.45% and net NPA at a very low 0.13%, while provision coverage ratio strengthened to 98.59%. Return on assets improved to 1.86% and return on equity to 23.19%, indicating strong profitability. The board proposed a final dividend of 12% in addition to an already paid interim dividend of 10%.
