On the reaction day the stock moved 2.9 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.5 pts less than its Public Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Bank of Maharashtra's standalone profit for the September 2025 quarter rose 23.0% to Rs 1,633.14 crore. For April to September 2025, consolidated revenue rose 21.8% to Rs 26,720.19 crore and profit after tax rose 20.7% to Rs 3,172.98 crore. Auditors gave an unmodified review but flagged too few independent directors, an audit committee quorum issue and a Rs 1,200 crore COVID-19 reserve. An extraordinary item of Rs 35.11 crore was booked.
Profit and revenue growth may support the stock, but governance concerns and the retained COVID-19 reserve may limit investor enthusiasm.
