On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.6 pts more than its Public Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Standalone September 2026 quarter income was Rs 9,735.41 crore, up 22.1% year on year, and net profit rose 41.4% to Rs 2,309.59 crore. Gross bad-loan ratio fell to 1.25% from 1.72%; capital adequacy 18.51%. The half-year included Rs 500 crore of credit-loss provisions. Auditors flagged Rs 510 crore of COVID provisions after a Rs 250 crore reversal; conclusion was unchanged. Half-year operating cash flow was negative Rs 22,581.82 crore.
Profit growth and better asset quality support the stock, but higher credit provisions and negative operating cash flow could limit gains.
