Bansal Wire Industries reported consolidated Q2 FY26 revenue of ₹10,554 Mn, up 27.9% year-on-year from ₹8,254.5 Mn in Q2 FY25. EBITDA grew 19.8% YoY to ₹815.8 Mn, though EBITDA margin contracted by 51 basis points to 7.7%. Profit after tax declined 4.3% YoY to ₹383.2 Mn, with PAT margin falling to 3.6% from 4.8%. Cash Profit rose 17% YoY to ₹559.1 Mn. The company recorded its highest-ever quarterly sales volume of 1,14,609 MT (up from 78,577 MT last year). For H1 FY26, revenue grew 21.4% to ₹19,944 Mn. The company also launched Induction Hardened and Tempered (IHT) Wire adding 9,000 tonnes of new capacity targeting the automotive sector.
Strong revenue growth and volume expansion signal healthy demand, but margin compression and a slight PAT dip despite higher revenue may concern investors looking at profitability trends. The new specialty wire capacity and infrastructure/automotive tailwinds support a positive medium-term outlook.
