Bansal Wire Industries reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 9,079.6 million, up about 34% YoY from Rs 6,766.1 million in Q1 FY25, driven by its core steel wire manufacturing business. Standalone profit after tax rose to Rs 302.8 million from Rs 259.6 million (~17% YoY growth), while EPS stood at Rs 1.93. On a consolidated basis (including subsidiaries Bansal Steel & Power and BWI Steel), revenue grew ~15% YoY to Rs 9,390.1 million and PAT rose ~25% YoY to Rs 392.8 million. The statutory auditor (Prateek Gupta & Company) issued an unmodified (clean) limited review opinion. The board also approved new Secretarial Auditor (Ranjit Tripathi & Associates for 5 years), Cost Auditor (Ashish & Associates for FY26), and Internal Auditor (S N Garg & Co for FY26), and dissolved the IPO Committee since the July 2024 IPO is now fully deployed.
Strong standalone revenue growth of ~34% YoY reflects healthy demand and capacity scaling at the steel wire business. The clean auditor opinion and absence of any flagged concerns are positive signals. Shareholders can expect steady operational performance, though margin pressure from rising depreciation and finance costs is worth watching.
