Beardsell Limited has submitted revised audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended 31st March 2025 after correcting a typographical error in the Earnings Per Share (EPS) figure that appeared in both the PDF and XBRL filings. The standalone Q4 EPS was corrected from Rs. 0.36 to Rs. 0.46, while the consolidated Q4 EPS was corrected from Rs. 2.49 to Rs. 0.48. The company confirmed no other figures were changed and the error was purely clerical. Underlying results show consolidated FY25 revenue of Rs. 26,835 lakhs (up ~9.6% YoY) and profit after tax of Rs. 983 lakhs (up ~19.6% YoY). The board had also recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.10 per share of Rs. 2 face value, subject to shareholder approval. Auditor G Balu Associates LLP issued an unmodified opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
This is an administrative correction limited to EPS reporting, with no impact on actual earnings, revenue, or balance sheet. Shareholders should note the corrected consolidated Q4 EPS is sharply lower than originally reported (Rs. 0.48 vs Rs. 2.49), but the full-year figures remain strong. No action required from investors, though it may briefly dent confidence in the company's filing processes.
