Bengal Steel Industries has filed its unaudited results for the quarter and nine months ended 31 December 2025. Revenue from operations stayed flat at ₹15 lakhs for Q3 FY26, while 9M revenue rose modestly to ₹45 lakhs from ₹42 lakhs in 9M FY25. Net profit for 9M FY26 jumped sharply to ₹20.40 lakhs (standalone) from ₹11.44 lakhs last year, an increase of around 78%, mainly because other expenses fell to ₹13 lakhs from ₹25.46 lakhs. Q3 standalone net profit, however, slipped to ₹8.17 lakhs from ₹11.29 lakhs a year ago. The consolidated results are broadly in line, with the subsidiary Tamil Nadu Alkaline Batteries contributing nil revenue and a marginal loss. Statutory auditors S. Ghose & Co LLP issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
Profitability has clearly improved on a 9-month basis, with strong PAT growth and expanding margins, but the sharp Q3 dip in net profit versus last year may temper near-term sentiment. The company remains very small in scale (sub-₹1 crore annual revenue), so results are more relevant for compliance than for price-moving signals.
