BFL Asset Finvest reported a sharp decline in FY25 performance, with total income falling to Rs. 2,141.98 lakh from Rs. 2,740.53 lakh in FY24, a drop of about 22%. Profit After Tax nearly halved to Rs. 123.62 lakh versus Rs. 229.94 lakh last year, with EPS at Rs. 1.21 versus Rs. 2.25. Revenue from operations also declined from Rs. 2,730.53 lakh to Rs. 2,101.82 lakh. On a positive note, operating cash flow turned strongly positive at Rs. 157.64 lakh compared to an outflow of Rs. 180.11 lakh in FY24. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified opinion, and the board also approved a rights issue of up to Rs. 29 crore during the year.
Sharply lower profits and declining revenue are negatives for shareholders, though the clean audit opinion and improved cash flow offer some comfort. The pending rights issue could lead to equity dilution for existing shareholders.
