The board of Bhagwati Autocast, at its meeting on 23rd May 2025, recommended a final dividend of Rs. 2.50 per equity share (25% on face value of Rs. 10), subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. This is higher than the prior year dividend of about Rs. 2 per share. The board also cleared audited results for Q4 and FY25, showing FY25 revenue from operations of Rs. 13,994 lakhs (up ~4.2% from Rs. 13,428 lakhs in FY24), but profit after tax declined ~11% to Rs. 615.82 lakhs versus Rs. 693.02 lakhs earlier, with EPS falling to Rs. 21.38 from Rs. 24.06. For Q4 alone, revenue grew ~19.8% YoY to Rs. 3,858 lakhs, though Q4 PAT fell to Rs. 273.52 lakhs from Rs. 407.35 lakhs. Additionally, Ms. Reena Bhagwati was reappointed as Managing Director for a further 3 years (Sept 2025 to Sept 2028), and new Secretarial, Internal, and Cost Auditors were appointed. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial results.
Shareholders stand to receive a slightly higher dividend than last year, but the decline in full-year profit and Q4 earnings despite revenue growth signals margin pressure, which may temper any positive stock reaction to the dividend news.
