Bhagawati Oxygen reported a net loss of Rs 7.62 lakhs for Q3 FY26 (Oct-Dec 2025), compared to a profit of Rs 11.25 lakhs in the previous quarter. For the nine months ended December 2025, the company swung to a small net profit of Rs 0.36 lakhs from a loss of Rs 59.45 lakhs in the same period last year. Revenue from operations fell sharply to Rs 48.06 lakhs in 9M FY26 from Rs 80.14 lakhs a year ago, a drop of about 40%, because the company's gas plant has been shut since the Hindustan Copper Ltd (HCL) supply contract expired in October 2021 and was not renewed. The Power segment continued to be the only profit earner (Rs 46.80 lakhs segment profit in 9M FY26), while the Gases segment remained in losses (Rs 41.07 lakhs). The auditor's limited review report is clean with no qualifications. The company still has an arbitration award of Rs 7.42 crores secured with the Calcutta High Court and is pursuing further arbitration for dues from March 2020 to October 2021.
Short-term shareholders face weak top-line performance as the core gas business remains shut, but the company has narrowed losses significantly and depends on Power segment income and pending arbitration money from HCL. The stock is likely to remain thinly traded and sentiment-driven pending clarity on the arbitration settlement.
