Bharat Bijlee's board, at its May 16, 2025 meeting, approved the audited FY25 results and recommended a final dividend of Rs. 35 per share (700% on face value of Rs. 5), subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. For FY25, revenue from operations rose modestly to Rs. 1,901.69 crore (vs Rs. 1,872.48 crore in FY24), while net profit stood at Rs. 133.65 crore (vs Rs. 131.44 crore). The Power Systems segment drove growth with revenue at Rs. 1,098.8 crore, while Industrial Systems slipped to Rs. 802.8 crore. The statutory auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified opinion, and P.M. Nanabhoy & Co. was reappointed as cost auditor for FY26.
The Rs. 35 final dividend signals continued shareholder rewards, though core earnings growth remains flat year-on-year. Shareholders will receive the dividend within 30 days of AGM approval.
