On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.2 pts more than its Oil Gas & Consumable Fuels peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
DGMS has withdrawn permission for deep-hole blasting at New Akashkinaree Colliery (NAKC) in Govindpur Area due to land subsidence at Chhatabad over the abandoned IX Seam underground workings. District Disaster Management Authority in Dhanbad also ordered a halt to blasting and mining until a scientific safety study is done. The affected land belongs to BCCL, which is conducting the required study and seeking fresh DGMS approval.
Blasting halt at one colliery may affect near-term coal output until studies are done and DGMS approval is restored.
