BEL submitted its unaudited Q1 FY26 results (quarter ended 30 June 2025) following a board meeting on 28 July 2025. Standalone revenue from operations rose about 5% year-on-year to ₹4,41,683 lakhs versus ₹4,19,877 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Standalone profit after tax jumped roughly 25% to ₹96,913 lakhs (from ₹77,614 lakhs), with EPS rising to ₹1.33 from ₹1.06. Consolidated revenue was ₹4,43,974 lakhs and consolidated PAT was ₹96,905 lakhs. No exceptional items were booked. Total expenses fell to about 72% of total income from 77% a year ago, indicating notable margin expansion. The Board had recommended a final dividend of ₹0.90 per share for FY25, over and above the ₹1.50 interim dividend already paid. Auditor Rao & Emmar gave an unmodified limited review.
Profit growing nearly five times faster than revenue points to strong operating leverage and margin expansion, which should please shareholders. The combined final-plus-interim dividend of ₹2.40 per share offers a healthy payout alongside the earnings beat.
