Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
BPCL board approved raising funds through secured or unsecured redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures in up to 10 tranches, aggregating up to Rs 5,000 crore, within one year. This follows the earlier intimation dated 13 August 2026. The borrowing can be done in multiple series and tranches, giving flexibility to time the market. Allotment details of each tranche will be filed later.
Debt raise avoids equity dilution and may fund capex; coupon rate on NCDs will shape any impact on interest costs and earnings.
