Q2 operating revenue was Rs 121,570.90 crore, up 3.1%, and net profit was Rs 6,442.53 crore versus Rs 2,397.23 crore a year ago. Consolidated profit was Rs 6,191.49 crore and half-year operating cash flow was Rs 21,313.06 crore. Average refining margin rose to $7.77 a barrel from $6.12. The board declared Rs 7.50 per share as interim dividend. Auditors highlighted Mozambique project and finance costs without modifying their conclusion.
Profit growth, better refining margins, cash flow and dividend may support the stock; Mozambique costs and board compliance remain risks.
