Orissa Steel Expressway Private Limited (OSEPL), a subsidiary of Bharat Road Network Limited (BRNL) with 59.38% shareholding, received Rs. 383,84,60,595 (approximately Rs. 383.85 crore) net of TDS from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on 8th July 2025. This amount represents a full and final settlement of all disputes arising from the Concession Agreement dated 06.07.2010 between NHAI and OSEPL, under the Government of India's 'Vivad Se Vishwas II (Contractual Disputes)' Scheme. All proceedings and disputes under the said Concession Agreement now stand fully disposed of, with both parties agreeing not to raise any further disputes. The settlement amount is proposed to be utilised towards priority liabilities, legal, and operational obligations of OSEPL.
