Bharat Wire Ropes posted Q3 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 132.82 crore, down about 18% from Rs 161.82 crore a year ago. Net profit, however, surged around 70% to Rs 25.25 crore versus Rs 14.88 crore in Q3 FY25, aided by lower raw material and finance costs. For nine months, revenue slipped marginally to Rs 440.06 crore from Rs 447.28 crore, while net profit rose nearly 10% to Rs 56.09 crore. Quarterly EPS stood at Rs 2.66 versus Rs 2.18. Results carried an unmodified Limited Review from CNK & Associates. The company also absorbed about Rs 1.88 crore of new Labour Codes impact in employee expenses.
Profit jump from cost control is a positive, but two straight quarters of falling revenue need watching. Keep an eye on margin sustainability and order inflows.
