Bharti Airtel reported FY25 consolidated revenue of Rs. 1,72,985 crore, up about 15% YoY from Rs. 1,49,982 crore. Net profit jumped sharply to Rs. 37,481 crore from Rs. 8,558 crore in FY24, though a one-time tax gain of Rs. 5,913 crore from recognition of unrecognised deferred tax assets accounts for a large part of the increase. Q4 revenue grew a strong ~27% YoY to Rs. 47,876 crore, with quarterly profit of Rs. 12,476 crore. The Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs. 16 per fully paid-up equity share (face value Rs. 5) and Rs. 4 per partly paid-up share, subject to shareholder approval. Auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Strong Q4 revenue growth and a healthy dividend are positive for shareholders, but most of the headline profit jump is a non-recurring tax benefit, so underlying earnings growth is more modest. The clean auditor report and consistent revenue momentum are supportive signals for the stock.
