On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 0.5 pts less than its Telecom - Cellular & Fixed line services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Bharti Hexacom, through its promoter Bharti Airtel, had challenged a 2013 Department of Telecommunications demand notice for one-time spectrum charges of Rs 473.7 Cr covering its Rajasthan and North East telecom circles. The Bombay High Court ruled on June 8, 2026, in the company's favor, setting aside the entire demand. No settlement or penalty involved, and Bharti Airtel has filed a separate intimation as promoter.
Positive for shareholders. Removes a Rs 473.7 Cr contingent liability and clears a long-pending dispute over spectrum charges.
