Bhaskar Agrochemicals posted strong FY25 results with revenue from operations rising about 35.8% to Rs. 9,050.60 lakhs (from Rs. 6,664.53 lakhs in FY24). Profit after tax more than doubled to Rs. 389.70 lakhs (from Rs. 174.18 lakhs), translating to EPS of Rs. 7.48 vs Rs. 3.34 earlier. Q4 standalone revenue stood at Rs. 2,231.17 lakhs with PAT of Rs. 73.50 lakhs. EBITDA margin expanded modestly to around 10% (from ~9.2%). Statutory auditor R. Kankaria & Uttam Singhi issued an unmodified opinion on the results. The Board also approved hikes in remuneration of MD and JMD/CFO from Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 15 lakh per month plus 5% of PAT as commission, and appointed new internal and secretarial auditors.
Strong topline growth and more-than-doubled PAT signal improving business momentum for shareholders, though total borrowings of ~Rs. 2,028 lakhs against equity of ~Rs. 1,775 lakhs keeps the balance sheet leveraged and operating cash flow shrank sharply to Rs. 104 lakhs (from Rs. 392 lakhs) due to higher receivables and inventory.
