Bhatia Colour Chem Limited reported FY26 revenue of Rs 1,546.2 crore, up 23.7% from Rs 1,250.3 crore in FY25. Profit after tax grew 14% to Rs 41.8 crore from Rs 36.6 crore. The company received an unmodified (clean) audit opinion from DSI & Co. Share capital increased from Rs 12.2 crore to Rs 14.1 crore after 19.06 lakh share warrants were converted to equity shares. The debt-to-equity ratio improved significantly from 0.256 to 0.016. However, operating cash flow was negative at Rs 127.1 crore, primarily due to large increases in trade receivables (Rs 347.5 crore) and inventories (Rs 104.6 crore). EPS declined slightly to Rs 2.96 from Rs 3.01 due to the increased share count from warrant conversions.
The company delivered solid revenue and profit growth with a clean audit, indicating reliable financials. However, the significant negative operating cash flow despite profitability suggests working capital pressures that investors should monitor. The sharp reduction in leverage is positive.
