Bhatia Communications & Retail reported strong Q3 FY26 results with revenue from operations rising to ₹17,545 lakhs, up about 38% from ₹12,681 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine-month period, revenue grew nearly 24% to ₹42,133 lakhs versus ₹33,895 lakhs a year ago, driven mainly by higher trading purchases of stock-in-trade. Profit after tax for the quarter jumped to ₹490.5 lakhs (up ~37% YoY) while 9M PAT rose to ₹1,221.6 lakhs (up ~12% YoY). Basic EPS for Q3 stood at ₹0.39 vs ₹0.29 last year. The board also declared a small 3rd interim dividend of Re. 0.01 per share (1% on ₹1 face value) for FY25-26. The statutory auditor RPR & Co. issued an unmodified limited review report.
The sharp topline growth in Q3 signals healthy retail/mobile distribution demand, and shareholders will receive a small interim dividend. However, margins remain thin (~3.7% PBT margin) and the PAT growth on a 9-month basis has slowed, so the stock may react to the strong quarterly momentum rather than the modest dividend.
