BHEL posted strong Q2 FY27 results. Standalone revenue from operations rose to Rs 9,300 Cr from Rs 7,698 Cr in Q2 FY26, up about 21%. PAT jumped to Rs 757 Cr (after a Rs 52 Cr prior period adjustment) from Rs 330 Cr, more than doubling. H1 FY27 PAT swung to Rs 1,087 Cr from a loss of Rs 155 Cr. Operating cash flow was positive at Rs 219 Cr. Results are unaudited and limited reviewed. Note: Rs 196 Cr receivable from STPC Sudan remains stuck due to crisis in Sudan.
Sharp profit growth signals improving order execution and margin recovery. Sudan exposure and reliance on branch auditors are points to watch.
