BHEL reported standalone Q2 FY26 revenue of Rs 7,512 crore, up 14% from Rs 6,584 crore. Profit after tax rose to Rs 368 crore from Rs 97 crore, while EBITDA increased to Rs 763 crore from Rs 393 crore. For the first half, revenue reached Rs 12,999 crore and loss after tax narrowed to Rs 87 crore from Rs 116 crore. The order book exceeded Rs 2.19 lakh crore, with over Rs 35,000 crore received in the half.
The strong Q2 profit rebound and large order book are positive, but the six-month loss and high receivables and contract assets remain risks.
