BHEL reported FY26 Revenue from Operations of Rs. 33,782 Crores, up 19% YoY, with Q4FY26 revenue at Rs. 12,310 Crores vs Rs. 8,993 Crores in Q4FY25. EBITDA for FY26 stood at Rs. 3,189 Crores (vs Rs. 1,745 Crores in FY25), with Profit After Tax surging to Rs. 1,578 Crores, an 83% increase over FY25's Rs. 513 Crores. Net provisions turned positive at Rs. -177 Crore in FY26 (vs Rs. 158 Crore net provisions in FY25), indicating a provision write-back. The company achieved a highest-ever order book outstanding of ~Rs. 2,40,000 Crore with 50% growth in industry segment order inflow, and commissioned/synchronised ~8.9 GW of power capacity during the year.
BHEL delivered strong double-digit revenue growth and a sharp improvement in profitability, with a record order book providing multi-year revenue visibility. The swing from net provisions to a write-back also signals improving asset quality, which is positive for the stock.
