BHEL reported strong FY2025-26 results with standalone revenue growing 19.2% to Rs 33,782 crore from Rs 28,339 crore. Net profit surged over 3x to Rs 1,578 crore from Rs 513 crore, with Q4 net profit at Rs 1,283 crore. Operating profit margin expanded from 4.38% to 6.93% and net profit margin more than doubled from 1.81% to 4.67%. The Board recommended final dividend of Rs 1.40 per share (70% on face value). Total debt to assets ratio remains low at 0.11. Trade receivables include Rs 196 crore overdue from Sudan customer (not provided for). Auditors issued unmodified opinion. Note: Board Audit Committee could not meet due to lack of quorum (only one Independent Director).
Strong positive results with over 200% PAT growth and margin expansion indicate improved operational efficiency. Low leverage and positive cash flows from operations (Rs 5,837 crore) support financial stability. Dividend increase signals confidence. The Sudan receivable exposure of Rs 196 crore remains a contingent risk.
