Bindal Exports' board, meeting on 14 November 2025, approved the standalone unaudited financial results for the half year ended 30 September 2025, along with a clean limited review report from statutory auditor Rajesh Bhauwala & Co. Revenue from operations fell to Rs 1,274.37 lakh from Rs 1,436.16 lakh in the same period last year, an approximate 11% decline, while other income dropped sharply to Rs 0.10 lakh from Rs 5.42 lakh. Despite the topline contraction, profit after tax rose to Rs 24.26 lakh from Rs 21.84 lakh, with basic EPS improving to Rs 0.53 from Rs 0.47, helped by lower total expenses. Operating cash flow strengthened sharply to Rs 104.61 lakh from Rs 29.77 lakh, and cash balances nearly tripled to Rs 165.44 lakh. The debt-to-equity ratio improved markedly to 0.40 from 2.35 in the prior comparable half year.
The results are mixed for shareholders: revenue shrank but profitability and cash generation improved, suggesting better margins and tighter cost control. With a cleaner balance sheet, higher cash, and no audit qualifications, the near-term concern is whether revenue growth can be revived after the decline.
