Birla Precision Technologies reported Q3 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs. 5,928.74 lakhs, up about 10.6% from Rs. 5,362.86 lakhs a year ago. Standalone profit after tax swung to Rs. 128.98 lakhs in Q3 from a loss of Rs. 26.30 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine months ended December 2025, standalone PAT surged to Rs. 683.01 lakhs (EPS Rs. 1.34) from Rs. 204.89 lakhs (EPS Rs. 0.31) a year earlier, while consolidated PAT rose to Rs. 688.68 lakhs from Rs. 218.29 lakhs. The Tooling segment continues to drive growth, whereas the Automotive Components segment remained loss-making (Rs. 105.30 lakhs loss in Q3). The company recognized a one-time Rs. 4.08 crore charge for gratuity under the new Labour Codes. Separately, the Board withdrew its earlier proposal to shut down wholly-owned German subsidiary Birla Precision Technologies GmbH and will continue its operations. Auditor T R Chadha & Co LLP issued an unmodified limited review report.
Strong year-on-year profit recovery and healthy revenue growth are positive for shareholders, though the QoQ sequential dip in both revenue and profit may limit near-term excitement. Withdrawal of the German subsidiary closure is a constructive signal on management's confidence in overseas operations.
