ICRA reaffirmed BirlaNu's credit rating at AA- (Negative) for long-term and A1+ for short-term. Total rated limits enhanced from Rs 600 crore to Rs 1,050 crore. The Negative outlook continues as recovery in earnings and credit metrics is expected to remain gradual, due to debt-funded acquisitions and capex of about Rs 290-300 crore. Q1 FY27 revenue grew 12% year-on-year to Rs 1,175 crore with operating margin at 6.3%.
Rating unchanged with Negative outlook. Lender limits enhanced to Rs 1,050 cr; gradual margin recovery remains the key monitorable.
