Birlasoft's consolidated September quarter revenue was Rs 14,162 million, up 6.6% from Rs 13,289 million. Net profit rose 37.5% to Rs 1,596 million; earnings per share was Rs 11.25. Half-year revenue was Rs 27,956 million and net profit Rs 4,532 million. Half-year operating cash flow was Rs 3,807 million. Auditor found no material misstatement. The board declared a Rs 3 per share interim dividend and allotted 100,997 incentive shares.
Strong profit growth, a wider operating margin and the dividend may support sentiment, though sales growth of 6.6% is modest.
