The Board of Directors of Bits Limited, at its meeting on 21 July 2025, approved the un-audited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose to Rs. 30.90 lakh from Rs. 24.62 lakh in Q1 FY25, a growth of about 25.5% year-on-year. Total revenue stood at Rs. 31.01 lakh versus Rs. 24.62 lakh earlier. Profit before tax jumped sharply to Rs. 7.39 lakh from Rs. 2.77 lakh, an increase of roughly 167% YoY, reflecting better cost control despite higher depreciation. Basic EPS improved to Rs. 0.0066 from Rs. 0.0025. On a consolidated basis, including the share of profit from associate Prurient IT Solutions (Rs. 1.57 lakh), total profit rose to Rs. 8.96 lakh from Rs. 3.46 lakh. The limited review report by R.C. Chadda & Co LLP was clean, with no qualifications.
Strongly positive — both revenue and profit more than doubled on a percentage basis versus the same quarter last year, suggesting improvement in business momentum. However, the absolute revenue base remains very small (around Rs. 31 lakh), so this is a marginal player and the numbers carry limited weight for the stock price.
