Bits Limited reported its Q3 FY26 results (quarter ended 31 Dec 2025). Standalone revenue from operations rose to ₹38.91 lakh from ₹30.87 lakh in Q3 FY25 (up ~26%). Nine-month revenue grew to ₹103.48 lakh from ₹82.83 lakh (up ~25%). Standalone profit before tax jumped sharply to ₹26.81 lakh in Q3 (vs ₹8.71 lakh a year ago) and ₹44.33 lakh for 9M (vs ₹12.40 lakh), driven largely by a spike in 'other income' to ₹17.66 lakh in Q3 from just ₹1.82 lakh a year earlier. Standalone EPS for the quarter rose to ₹0.024 from ₹0.0078. On a consolidated basis, total comprehensive income for the quarter was ₹28.06 lakh (including ₹1.25 lakh share from associate Prurient IT Solutions). No tax expense or exceptional items were booked. The auditor (R.C. Chadda & Co LLP) issued an unqualified limited review report.
The numbers look strong on the surface, but most of the profit jump comes from a one-off jump in 'other income' rather than core operating revenue growth. Retail investors should watch whether this other income is sustainable before extrapolating the ~3x profit growth trend.
