On the reaction day the stock moved 1.3 pts more than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.2 pts more than its Tour Travel Related Services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
BLS International informed the exchanges that the Delhi High Court has set aside the earlier two-year debarment imposed by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), which had barred the company from participating in MEA and India Mission abroad tenders. The company had challenged the MEA order through a writ petition. With the court setting aside the debarment, the restriction no longer stands, removing a key business risk for the company.
Positive: Removes the two-year MEA tender ban, restoring BLS's ability to bid for government visa and passport-related contracts that are central to its business.
