Blue Star Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 12,401.99 crore for FY26, up 3.6% from Rs 11,967.65 crore in FY25. However, profit after tax declined 10.8% to Rs 527.33 crore from Rs 591.28 crore in the prior year, impacted by labour code provisions. The standalone PAT was Rs 385.10 crore vs Rs 484.90 crore. Operating margin expanded slightly from 7.32% to 7.50%. Exceptional items included reversal of Rs 18.80 crore labour provision plus Rs 1.28 crore one-time expense. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 8.5 per share (down from Rs 9). Auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells issued unmodified clean reports.
The PAT decline despite revenue growth signals margin pressure, which could concern investors. However, the clean audit, maintained dividend, and operating margin expansion indicate business stability. Debt-equity ratio remains comfortable at 0.18.
