Blue Star Limited reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 12,401.99 Crores for FY2026, up 3.6% from Rs 11,967.65 Crores in FY2025. However, profit after tax declined 10.8% to Rs 527.33 Crores from Rs 591.28 Crores in the previous year. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 8.5 per equity share (face value Rs 2), lower than Rs 9 per share paid for FY2025. Operating margin expanded slightly to 7.50% from 7.32%, but net profit margin compressed to 4.23% from 4.91%. Exceptional items of Rs 17.52 Crores included reversal of excess labour code provision (Rs 18.80 Crores) and other expenses (Rs 1.28 Crores). The statutory auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued unmodified audit reports for both standalone and consolidated results. The 78th AGM is scheduled for August 6, 2026.
While revenue grew modestly, profit after tax declined over 10% which may concern investors. The lower dividend payout and PAT decline could put near-term pressure on the stock price despite healthy operating cash flows of Rs 153.81 Crores.
