Blue Star Limited reported consolidated revenue of Rs 12,401.99 crore for FY2026, up 3.6% from Rs 11,967.65 crore in FY2025. However, profit after tax declined to Rs 527.33 crore from Rs 591.28 crore in the prior year, a fall of about 10.8%. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 8.5 per equity share (face value Rs 2), down from Rs 9 per share last year. Standalone revenue stood at Rs 11,779.23 crore with PAT of Rs 385.10 crore. The auditor issued an unmodified (clean) report with no qualifications. Exceptional items included a net credit of Rs 16.24 crore from reversal of labour code provisions and one-time expenses. Operating margin expanded slightly to 7.50% from 7.32%, but net profit margin compressed to 4.23% from 4.91%.
The 10.8% decline in PAT and lower dividend may create short-term negative sentiment, despite revenue growth and margin expansion. The clean audit report provides confidence in financial reporting integrity.
