Blue Star Limited reported consolidated revenue of Rs 12,401.99 crore for FY2026, up 3.6% from Rs 11,967.65 crore in FY2025. However, profit after tax declined 10.8% to Rs 527.33 crore from Rs 591.28 crore, impacted by Rs 38.83 crore net exceptional charges primarily from Labour Code implementation (Rs 37.55 crore provision). Standalone PAT was Rs 385.10 crore vs Rs 484.90 crore. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 8.50 per share (down from Rs 9 per share). Statutory auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued unmodified (clean) audit reports for both standalone and consolidated results. Debt-equity ratio increased slightly to 0.18 from 0.07 but remains healthy. Operating cash flow was Rs 153.81 crore.
The revenue growth was modest while PAT declined significantly due to exceptional items from Labour Code changes. Despite lower profits and reduced dividend, the clean audit opinion and healthy balance sheet metrics should provide stability. The increase in debt levels and higher finance costs bear watching.
