Group Q2 revenue rose 11.3% to Rs 857.48 crore, while post-tax profit rose 97% to Rs 3.52 crore. H1 revenue rose 10.8% to Rs 1,654.71 crore, but profit became a Rs 3.63 crore loss from Rs 1.79 crore profit. H1 included Rs 1.27 crore of demerger costs, and operations used Rs 126.80 crore of cash. The auditor's review was unmodified. The related-party buy of 2% more Vedang costs Rs 4.16 crore and lifts ownership to 98.98%.
Q2 profit and revenue growth help, but the H1 loss and Rs 126.80 crore cash outflow may weigh on sentiment. The Vedang deal adds cash needs.
