Bombay Oxygen Investments, a non-banking financial company (NBFC) focused on investments, reported its Q3 FY26 (Dec 2025) and nine-month FY26 results. Total income for Q3 FY26 stood at Rs. 1,040.59 lakhs, swinging from a loss of Rs. 1,785.04 lakhs in Q3 FY25, driven by a net gain on fair value changes of financial assets of Rs. 1,033.13 lakhs. Net profit after tax for Q3 FY26 was Rs. 915.58 lakhs, recovering from a loss of Rs. 1,548.07 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. For nine months FY26, net profit came in at Rs. 2,816.69 lakhs, slightly lower than Rs. 2,980.73 lakhs in 9M FY25. EPS for Q3 FY26 was Rs. 610.39, versus a loss per share of Rs. 1,032.05 in Q3 FY25. The statutory auditors (AMS & Co LLP) issued an unmodified review report with no qualifications.
The results are highly volatile and dependent on market-driven fair value changes of the company's investment portfolio rather than operating business. Shareholders should note that Q3 swing to profit was largely driven by mark-to-market gains; the 9M trend shows a mild dip in profitability compared to last year, which is normal for an investment holding company.
