Bombay Oxygen Investments Ltd, an NBFC whose core activity is investing in financial assets, reported unaudited results for Q3 FY26 and 9M FY26. Total income for 9M FY26 came in at Rs 3,359.04 lakhs, down slightly from Rs 3,443.28 lakhs in 9M FY25, mainly due to lower net fair value gains (Rs 3,007.30 lakhs vs Rs 3,229.68 lakhs). Net profit for 9M FY26 was Rs 2,816.69 lakhs, marginally lower than Rs 2,980.73 lakhs a year ago, with EPS of Rs 1,877.79 versus Rs 1,987.15. For the standalone quarter, the company swung back to a profit of Rs 915.58 lakhs from a loss of Rs 1,548.07 lakhs in Q3 FY25, helped by a reversal in fair value movements. Total comprehensive income for 9M FY26 rose sharply to Rs 5,364.92 lakhs from Rs 3,436.64 lakhs, driven by gains on FVTOCI financial assets. The statutory auditor (AMS & Co LLP) issued an unqualified limited review report with no qualifications or emphasis of matter.
Modest YoY dip in headline income and profit reflects the inherent volatility of fair-value-based earnings, but the clean auditor opinion and strong total comprehensive income growth are reassuring for shareholders.
