Bombay Wire Ropes posted Q1 FY27 PAT of Rs. 295.18 lakh (EPS Rs. 5.53) versus a loss of Rs. 2.12 lakh in Q1 FY26. Profit was entirely driven by a one-time gain of Rs. 432.20 lakh from selling its Mumbai office premises to a related party. Revenue from operations was nil; recurring other income was just Rs. 12.03 lakh. Total expenses were Rs. 22.74 lakh. Auditor flagged an emphasis of matter on the related party sale arrangement.
Headline profit is a one-time event, not from operations. Revenue from operations is zero, so core business remains weak. Watch for sustained earnings.
