On the reaction day the stock moved 5.5 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 6.2 pts more than its Industrial Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

Ministry of Finance has extended the Countervailing Duty on imports of textured tempered solar glass from Malaysia by three months, now valid until June 8, 2026. The duty was originally imposed in March 2021 for five years and was set to expire on March 8, 2026. The extension allows DGTR to complete its sunset review and a possible continuation or variation in the duty. This protects Borosil Renewables from unfairly priced imports.
Positive for Borosil. Extended duty shields domestic solar glass makers from cheap Malaysian imports, supporting pricing power until review concludes.
